Most of us rush out of bed. Maybe some of us do s Most of us rush out of bed. Maybe some of us do some type of mental ritual. But probably not many do a physical ritual. And almost nobody does a transformational ritual. This is where the opportunity lies for most people. It does not have to cost a lot of time in order to be effective. What matters is going through the rituals with consciousness and intention. The 3:10 method is one example. It means having 3 activities of 10 minutes that you can plan in the morning or evening. One ritual is physical, one is mental, and the last one is transformational. These will give you focus and motivation throughout the day to perform. The first pillar is a physical ritual. Starting the day with a 10 minute stretch, breathing exercise or any type of movement is the best way to create a solid focus and head-start. The second pillar is a mental ritual to become relaxed & positive. This can be some type of social interaction with family / kids, or simply listening to a few good songs in the morning. The last pillar is transformational, which means that you do something for your 'future self'. It can be positive visualization, meditation, reflection or gratitude writing. But it has to be something that you know that will change your life if you do it for 10+ years. That's how you obtain success. #ritual #activities #choices #futureself #intention #unlockmotivation #focus #growth #ChangeCatalyst #dream #success #hardwork #personalchange #habit #goals #personaldevelopment #inspiration #morningritual #transformation #lifestyle #freedom #opportunity #reflection #meditation #visualize #imagine #attitude #skills #effort
We all sometimes struggle with new habits and adop We all sometimes struggle with new habits and adopting these behaviours in our lifestyle. That's why using a Kanban Board can be a good idea. Kan is Japanese for 'visual' and ban means 'board'. In other words, a Kanban can be used as a visual reminder for our tasks that we want to repeat on a daily basis. Kanban helps us visualize the progress we
make by moving the cards from "To Do" to "Doing" and when we finish to "Done". So Kanban can support you as a system to create new habits and maintain daily flow. So buy a few post its and start with your own Kanban! The trick to really adopt the system is to keep it simple, challenging and fun. Of course, you will have to learn along the way how best to describe your tasks and habits. But in the end this is what matters; using a system that allows you to maintain flow in this change process that you are going through. #Kanban #optimaldose #prioritize #taskfocused #unlockmotivation #results #tasks #ChangeCatalyst #Kanbanboard #system #achievement #personalchange #habit #achievegoals #personaldevelopment #dailyflow #flow #training #lifestyle #freedom #health #newhabit #vitality #fitness #fatloss #goals #fit #riskreward #effort

Personality tests are immensely popular these days Personality tests are immensely popular these days. "Oh are you an ENTP? I'm more of an ISTJ." "I'm really super red, and you a little blue I think". But what's the point of putting ourselves in certain boxes? Look, of course we all have preferences. One person likes cheese and the other likes rice. Or someone is more of a coffee than a tea person. But these too are preferences that change over time (okay, except for the coffee). And by believing that we will always stay the same, we also hinder our personal growth. In short, it makes no sense to think that our personality is permanent. Instead, it is better to give our personality a flexible definition and look at our weaknesses. So which of these pitfalls do you recognize in yourself? With awareness and appropriate action, we can then overcome these pitfalls. So, can you adapt to any colour in any situation? This is the first step in the process of changing your personality. #personality #growthmindset #personalitytests #changeyourpersonality #unlockmotivation #motivation #fixedmindset #ChangeCatalyst #strengths #pitfalls #disc #discpersonality #habit #positivepsychology #persona #test #changeyourmindset #personaleffectiveness #lifestyle #success #personalitytraits #psychology #psychologytests #vitality #futureself #growyourpersonality #aspiration #fit #personalchange #healthyhabits
Some people are born in poverty. Others are born w Some people are born in poverty. Others are born with a handicap. Most of us are born with relatively good circumstances. But some people are born to become king. This is what happened to Marcus Aurelius. Maybe some of us would dream of this position. But Marcus could only think one thing.. "Why me?" It is a big burden to bear for Marcus.
He realizes that his path will not be an easy one. Through books and people around him, Marcus learned about four cardinal values that makes a good human. The values are Courage (the lion), Temperance (the man sprinkling water into a jug of wine), Wisdom, (the owl), and Justice (a set of scales). Marcus believed that these four values were the ingredients for a meaningful life. Even in the modern world, where so many people seek out empty goals and false promises, these values can still guide us. These values can be called upon when a challenge arises and life becomes hard. The Lion stands for courage, having the ability to face fear and discomfort. The Man sprinkling water into wine stands for self-control, and temperance. It means having enough & being content with enough. The Owl stands for wisdom, and the ability to know what is good and bad. It means knowing what the best choice is in any moment and to learn from it Justice means doing what is right and fair, never inflicting injury or harming another being. Throughout his life, Marcus Aurelius held on to these values. And in the end he was remembered as one of the last Good Emperors of Rome. Acting courageously, modest, justly and wisely. His teachings can help anyone to become a better person on the road towards meaning and self-mastery, including you. #selfmastery #stoic #choices #stoicism #virtue #unlockmotivation #marcusaurelius #ideals #ChangeCatalyst #wisdom #success #values #personalchange #duty #goals #personaldevelopment #inspiration #philosophy #transformation #freedom #justice #courage #wisdom #modesty #character #skills #temperance #growth
Change is difficult. It requires energy and willpo Change is difficult. It requires energy and willpower to break out of the status quo. So, we need something to break this balance of forces that is keeping us in the same place. That's why we have to look for a catalyst. This is something that will make it easy to start the change process. Discover how you can create a catalyst to ignite your personal transformation. In chemical terms, a catalyst helps a chemical reaction succeed with less energy. Likewise in life, we have to find a catalyst to make our own transformation easier. There are three simple steps to follow to gain activation energy in your life: 1. Expand your awareness on your potential growth areas. 2. Improve these areas of your life with smarter choices. 3. Through smarter choices, you will get better results. After creating awareness and making smarter choices, you will gradually experience better results. Then the results are the input for the next cycle of change. Put differently, change should be seen as a continuous process that requires small tweaks and corrections along the way. Each cycle of the change process creates momentum for the next cycle to topple over a bigger domino. So start small and gain momentum to crush the bigger dominoes later. All by having a consistent plan, practiced daily. #breakthrough #selfdevelopment #commitment #imagination #catalyst #unlockmotivation #focus #ideals #ChangeCatalyst #dream #success #momentum #personalchange #habit #achievegoals #personaldevelopment #results #flow #transformation #lifestyle #freedom #action #choices #awareness #visualize #inspiration #activation #skills #effort
Ikigai is composed of two words, Iki and Gai. Ik Ikigai is composed of two words, Iki and Gai. Iki refers to 'life', while Gai is roughly translated to 'the realization of what one expects and hopes for', or in short 'worth'. So, Ikigai is a Japanese word that describes a deep reason to be alive. Finding activities in life that have this element of 'Ikigai' give us a sense of meaning and inner purpose. Because the truth is that we all need a dream to pursue when we wake up each morning. Step 1.
The best approach to find your Ikigai is to start with the hardest question, which is where you can contribute to the world. Starting from this line of reasoning, you can make a list of possible contributions to the world. Step 2.
Of course, take into account your strengths, weaknesses and personality. But also know in the back of your minds that nothing comes with pure talent, but with effortful practice. Step 3.
Ikigai is focused on the process and feeling the immersion of your life contribution. And once you do something that the world needs, while also being good at it, you will start loving it. Step 4.
When step one, two and three are present, the last step comes to you naturally. Now it's time for you to discover your Ikigai. Find a purpose, a reason to live. The secret of high achievers is that they know tha The secret of high achievers is that they know that they only have a limited amount of time and effort to spend each day. With this in mind, they always try to do something in an optimal way by going for what is called the sweet spot or the minimum effective dose. This sweet spot is where you get the most reward for the least amount of effort, risk or stress. In other words the Minimum Effective Dose is about getting the most bang for your buck. The same goes for sports and losing weight. We often thinks that we have to go to the gym for at least an hour to achieve results. That the goal is to be completely destroyed in a gym session. That we have to be fully fatigued to get a result. But this is not the case. It is about the minimum effective dose, and to do this as frequently as possible. This way you expose your muscles as often as possible to a stimulus that makes your muscles grow. So even if you only train for 30 minutes, you can still gain results, become stronger, lose weight faster, without going to the gym for the whole hour. The lesson here is that you have to find the 20% of effort that will provide 80% of the result that you seek. This is how you obtain success. Whatever activity you choose to do, remember the minimum effective dose. It is your holy grail in terms of productivity. Whenever you do something, do it for the optimal ratio. Always think, what is my: Time / Energy / Risk / Effort vs. Reward ratio? Find this balance for yourself. #minimumeffectivedose #optimaldose #sweetspot #effectivedose #unlockmotivation #results #musclebuilding #ChangeCatalyst #paretoprinciple #gym #achievement #personalchange #habit #pareto #personaldevelopment #balance #8020rule #training #lifestyle #productivity #health #productive #vitality #fitness #fatloss #goals #fit #riskreward #effort

The choice between a pleasant and easy life, or a tough but glorious life. On one side stood a divine goddess called Vice.
She offered Hercules every temptation he could imagine. She promised that he would never feel pain or fear, and would see all desire fulfilled, if he chose to walk this path. On the other side stood a woman called Virtue.

We all know the moment Harry Potter put on the sor We all know the moment Harry Potter put on the sorting hat. The sorting hat told him his personality would be a great fit with Slytherin. But Harry wished for a different result & a different life. He believed that he could be a Gryffindor. In the end, this convinced the sorting hat to accept his choice. He chose Griffindor for Harry because he recognized his potential. And choice is far more more important than who you currently are. In this story lies a fundamental truth and lesson that we can apply to our own life.
"You can become who you choose to be".
Really, it doesn't matter who you are right now.
What matters much more is who you want to become.
So even though our own personality partly defines who we are, we should never let it limit our potential. It should never be the reason we cannot do or achieve something. "It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities." Make an active choice, like Harry Potter, to become the person you aspire to be. Let your choice be the catalyst for change in the present moment. #harry #potter #choices #harrypotter #growth #unlockmotivation #Gryffindor #ideals #ChangeCatalyst #dream #success #Slytherin #personalchange #sortinghat #goals #personaldevelopment #inspiration #believe #transformation #lifestyle #freedom #truth #passion #personality #visualize #imagine #potential #skills #effort
