There is a thing called the Upper Limit of the mou There is a thing called the Upper Limit of the mountain. It is basically the highest point of the mountain where you are & feel comfortable.
Even though the mountain is higher than the point you are at, it's not possible to climb any higher. This is because we all have certain limiting beliefs about how high we can actually climb.
Of course, hitting your upper limit is a good sign. It means you are approaching new levels. But still, you are unable to climb any higher, because you would self-sabotage yourself and fall back down again.
Maybe you dwell on past relationships or self-defeating thoughts. Maybe you don't forgive yourself or think you are not enough. Whatever the case:
"Whatever you think is stopping you from living the life you want is not stopping you, only you can stop you."
As we climb this mountain, there will be worry distracting your from what really matters, which is facing discomfort while finding wisdom.
Worry and overthinking will disconnect you from the present moment. And then you will be side-lined by your own anxiety. 
Look, in a few decades you will be gone. Let this liberate you. Don't get stuck on these feelings.
Instead of react, respond. Because life is one big feedback mechanism that reflects who you are, with the ultimate goal of showing you what you need to overcome to live better & more fully. 
When you get to the end of life, you will see the mountains for what they truly were. Gifts. So start climbing those mountains to discover your untapped potential.

Mental pressure, stress, expectations and responsibilities often get in our way. So how do we find that feeling of peace and relaxation? How do we connect with our inner self while dealing with a chaotic & high-stress environment?
The answer lies in producing a certain type of brainwave, also known as Alpha Waves.
Today you will discover how brainwaves can be amplified to increase your focus & concentration.
Different brainwaves produce different feelings. On the one hand Gamma and Beta are high frequency waves that speed up our brain (during a peak experience / complex thinking). 
On the other hand Theta and Gamma waves slow us down (during meditation or when we sleep). 
Lastly, Alpha waves are a middle state where we feel creative flow and relaxation.
The Alpha bridge represents the idea that Alpha brain waves bridge the gap between our internal and external worlds. In short, if you are looking for more peace, energy and flow, Alpha waves are essential.
To achieve this we have to plan a routine in our life that is also known as the glory hour.
A Glory Hour is an hour per day where you have a routine that helps you get the right brain state. 
This routine helps you Amplify Alpha waves (and possibly also Theta waves), to create more inner connectedness. Choose a few activities of 10-15 minutes each, such as breathing exercises, yoga, stretching, visualization, reading and reflection. 
All these activities will help you enter a dominant Alpha / Theta state, so the brain can calm down before starting a busy day or going back to sleep.
Create a routine to build this Alpha Bridge. Because with the right brain state, your mood and energy level will skyrocket as well.

There is a Stoic Idea called Sympatheia, which bas There is a Stoic Idea called Sympatheia, which basically signifies the mutual interdependence among everything in the universe.
This is something we can all benefit from. Sympatheia is a perspective, an invitation to all of us to take a step back, zoom out and see life from a higher vantage point than our own. 
It helps us change our judgements, see things from a different light - taking the view from above - all to challenge our own perception and see the world more accurately & fairly. 
Marcus Aurelius, a famous Stoic philosopher, calls this the common good. He believed that we were all part of something bigger, that we are all one. 
Sympatheia is a reminder to all of us that we are not alone. There is a greater good to which we all owe a duty above our own selfish concerns.
That we should not only be inspired to change for ourselves, but also for others.
Because when you become a better version of yourself, you can give this better version to others. 
This is the goal; asking yourself "What is my role in this world?"."What can I give?". Are my problems really that big of a deal? Or are they small in the bigger picture?
It's about having the ability to zoom out of your own personal bubble. Let it liberate you to see the world as a whole. 
Let it inspire you to become a better person, a better leader, a better partner, a better colleague, a better parent, a better friend.

There are several stages that are fundamental to a There are several stages that are fundamental to achieve change & success. 
These stages are also known as the 7 C's:
- Conception
- Commitment
- Consistency
- Confidence
- Character
- Change
- Capacity
Climbing the Pyramid starts with an idea that is born in the mind. This is called conception.
The second stage is commitment. This is the part where 'commit' to changing our life by doing something new. The more commitment we have for something, we more we will live up to the values we deem important. 
The third stage is consistency. Through our initial commitment we start. But it is through consistently following a pattern that we will produce something significant.
The fourt stage is confidence. Confidence is defined by having self-esteem that you can do it. That you are up for the challenge, even after when things go wrong. It means that you are confident that you will get back up again after having failed.
One of the last stages of change is character. This is the stage where the new thing becomes part of your identity. It is the moment that we start to reach the top of the Pyramid. 
The last stage is actually a continuous stage. It is about the capacity to enjoy and cherish each moment of climbing the pyramid. By seeing that with every stage and step you grow as a person. 
Time to climb this pyramid and enjoy the view when you get to the top.

So how can we accelerate the process?
The solution is mastering valuable skills.
Now I share four learning strategies that you can use to learn skills faster. 
1. Mindmapping
To visualize the change you wish to see in life you can create a mind map. With this higher perspective you can find out exactly what skills you need to develop to achieve the goal. 
The mind map reflects the bigger picture with all the critical success factors that have to be present. On the other hand, it also allows you to identify pitfalls and obstacles that have to be avoided. 
2. Deep work
Deep work, which is working without any distraction or interruption is an effective learning strategy. For example, create time blocks of 20-25 minutes.
So when the sandglass is turned, just focus on the task at hand. This is your deep work state.
3. Deliberate Practice
We can accelerate progress through deliberate practice. Learning something deliberately means focusing on the skill through direct exposure.
With this slight discomfort you are pushing yourself with a challenge that is just above your skill level. Individuals who practice deliberately focus on four steps. They plan, practice, perfect and perform to go through the cycle of intense learning.
4. Experimentation
Experimentation is a strategy about testing hypotheses and exploring the possibilities.
Actually, the 15th century meaning of an "experience", was derived from from the Latin root experimentum, which means "test or trial." So, experimentation is about trying out new ideas, methods, or activities that can literally help you to experience a new feeling.
When you use these strategies, learning becomes easier. And when learning becomes easier, it will also be easier to change your identity.

Most of us rush out of bed. Maybe some of us do s Most of us rush out of bed.
Maybe some of us do some type of mental ritual.
But probably not many do a physical ritual.
And almost nobody does a transformational ritual.
This is where the opportunity lies for most people.
It does not have to cost a lot of time in order to be effective. What matters is going through the rituals with consciousness and intention. 
The 3:10 method is one example.
It means having 3 activities of 10 minutes that you can plan in the morning or evening. 
One ritual is physical, one is mental, and the last one is transformational. These will give you focus and motivation throughout the day to perform.
The first pillar is a physical ritual. Starting the day with a 10 minute stretch, breathing exercise or any type of movement is the best way to create a solid focus and head-start. 
The second pillar is a mental ritual to become relaxed & positive. This can be some type of social interaction with family / kids, or simply listening to a few good songs in the morning.
The last pillar is transformational, which means that you do something for your 'future self'. It can be positive visualization, meditation, reflection or gratitude writing. But it has to be something that you know that will change your life if you do it for 10+ years. 
That's how you obtain success.

make by moving the cards from "To Do" to "Doing" and when we finish to "Done". 
So Kanban can support you as a system to create new habits and maintain daily flow.
So buy a few post its and start with your own Kanban! The trick to really adopt the system is to keep it simple, challenging and fun. 
Of course, you will have to learn along the way how best to describe your tasks and habits.
But in the end this is what matters; using a system that allows you to maintain flow in this change process that you are going through.

Personality tests are immensely popular these days Personality tests are immensely popular these days.
"Oh are you an ENTP? I'm more of an ISTJ."
"I'm really super red, and you a little blue I think".
But what's the point of putting ourselves in certain boxes?
Look, of course we all have preferences. One person likes cheese and the other likes rice. Or someone is more of a coffee than a tea person. But these too are preferences that change over time (okay, except for the coffee).
And by believing that we will always stay the same, we also hinder our personal growth.
In short, it makes no sense to think that our personality is permanent. Instead, it is better to give our personality a flexible definition and look at our weaknesses.
So which of these pitfalls do you recognize in yourself? With awareness and appropriate action, we can then overcome these pitfalls.

Some people are born in poverty. Others are born w Some people are born in poverty. Others are born with a handicap. Most of us are born with relatively good circumstances.
But some people are born to become king.
This is what happened to Marcus Aurelius.
Maybe some of us would dream of this position. But Marcus could only think one thing..
"Why me?"
It is a big burden to bear for Marcus. 
He realizes that his path will not be an easy one. 
Through books and people around him, Marcus learned about four cardinal values that makes a good human. 
The values are Courage (the lion), Temperance (the man sprinkling water into a jug of wine), Wisdom, (the owl), and Justice (a set of scales).
Marcus believed that these four values were the ingredients for a meaningful life. 
Even in the modern world, where so many people seek out empty goals and false promises, these values can still guide us.
These values can be called upon when a challenge arises and life becomes hard.
The Lion stands for courage, having the ability to face fear and discomfort.
The Man sprinkling water into wine stands for self-control, and temperance. It means having enough & being content with enough.
The Owl stands for wisdom, and the ability to know what is good and bad. It means knowing what the best choice is in any moment and to learn from it
Justice means doing what is right and fair, never inflicting injury or harming another being.
Throughout his life, Marcus Aurelius held on to these values. And in the end he was remembered as one of the last Good Emperors of Rome. 
Acting courageously, modest, justly and wisely.
His teachings can help anyone to become a better person on the road towards meaning and self-mastery, including you.

So, we need something to break this balance of forces that is keeping us in the same place.
That's why we have to look for a catalyst. 
This is something that will make it easy to start the change process. Discover how you can create a catalyst to ignite your personal transformation.
In chemical terms, a catalyst helps a chemical reaction succeed with less energy. Likewise in life, we have to find a catalyst to make our own transformation easier. 
There are three simple steps to follow to gain activation energy in your life:
1.  Expand your awareness on your potential growth areas.
2.  Improve these areas of your life with smarter choices.
3.  Through smarter choices, you will get better results.
After creating awareness and making smarter choices, you will gradually experience better results.
Then the results are the input for the next cycle of change. Put differently, change should be seen as a continuous process that requires small tweaks and corrections along the way.
Each cycle of the change process creates momentum for the next cycle to topple over a bigger domino. So start small and gain momentum to crush the bigger dominoes later. 
All by having a consistent plan, practiced daily.
